Precious Baby T {Newborn Sneak Peak}

I had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful newborn today. She was absolutely precious. It took me back to a little over 3 years ago when I held my own little angel in my arms for the first time. I miss those moments of just holding her. They grow up too fast! Baby Girl T was the perfect little model. Enjoy this adorable sneak peak!

JB Turns 30 {Surprise Birthday}

My fabulous brother-in-law turned 30. Friends and family met at Brennan's in the Central West End to hopefully surprise him. And before you look at the photos, let me just go ahead and apologize for my black and white obsession. My last two posts have been all black and white. I promise I'll get more colorful soon. :)

I love this next photo. He kissed his wife Yury who was shaking because she really wanted to pull off the surprise. It was cute.

It was a fun birthday party. The food was great and the company was even more excellent. Happy Birthday, Jason! You are a great brother-in-law!

Playing Catch Up and Finding Gems {My Girl}

I am so far behind in editing my personal pictures. I don't know how it happens. I get a handle on it and then suddenly I find myself 9 months behind. Crazy. I have been trying feverishly to catch up. I found these gems in Septembers photos of 2010. They are really priceless (even if I do say so). How I love this girl!

On this particular day, we decided to paint with water color. Quite an endeavor for a two-year-old. She absolutely loved it. I, on the other hand, was having OCD panic attack because she was mixing the colors of the paint and not dipping the from water to paint to page in the correct sequence. Finally, I calmed myself down and said to myself, "Relax. Shes' having fun."

I thought for a moment that I might go crazy. :)

Then later that evening, I rolled her hair so it could be curly for church the next day. And these priceless gems were photographed. I can't tell you how much these next photos capture her personality. I love them.

In case you're wondering, that's yogurt on her mouth. Her reward for sitting still for the curlers was sharing yogurt with Daddy.

Rick + Katie {Sneak Peak}

In my passion for photography, I have had the support of many people. I am blessed with amazing friends who have allowed me to photograph their beautiful children and their families. And through them, my passion has turned into a growing business. Katie is one of those supportive friends. I love that Katie let's me talk about photography (a lot), and even if she doesn't enjoy it, she at least appeases me by being just as excited as me! Katie is a budding interior designer. She has an amazing eye for design. And speaking of design, her husband Rick is a one-of-a-kind, crazy talented graphics designer. You can check out his fabulous website here

Katie and I have been talking for a while about maybe shooting some photos of her in a wedding dress. I am merging into wedding photography...with two official weddings on the books for this summer, which I am overwhelming super excited about! So I have been joking with Katie that I needed to practice on her. Katie and Rick were married two years ago this past April. So before Katie had her dressed cleaned and packaged a way, we had ourselves a little photo session. It was so much fun. I love this couple so much and am so happy to call them friends! Thank you, Rick and Katie, for a wonderful time and for your encouragement!
