The On-Going Project

About a year and half ago, I picked up crocheting after having not crocheted in nearly 20 years. Ick ... that makes me sound old. It was really, as they say, like riding a bicycle. Instead of starting on simple projects like scarves, I opted to begin a queen/king size blanket. I hadn't touched it in many months. A couple of weeks ago, I picked the blanket back up again. Now I crochet at night while Aaron and I listen to the Bible on audio. It is quite relaxing. And I'm starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel...it's a small glint of light...but a light none the less.

Fallen Petal

I was just messing around with my camera this weekend and got this shot of a petal that had fallen from some flowers my husband brought home for me. I really like how it turned out.

Daddy has a new assistant

My husband had to speak the other night at Gateway. Then we had to stop at his office on the way home so that he could prepare somethings for a business trip he was taking the next day. I think it was the highlight of Miss A's night ... or maybe the highlight of her night was running down the aisle in the middle of his message screaming, "Hi, Daddy!" She is one busy 2-year-old!

I think this photo well makes up for the one I didn't take on Valentine's Day.

Miss A quickly found her own office.
And got to work right away.
How can I assist you today?
Here is Daddy, his new and very serious assistant, and boss Snoopy. Yes, our daughter thinks her father works for Snoopy. It's a noble job!

You could say I love this girl!!

You could say I love this girl, and you'd be 100% accurate!! She loves bath time and loves looking at herself in the mirror. I love that she loves this. Simple pleasures with my beautiful little girl.
