{My Family} Snow Fun!

We haven't had much opportunity to play in the snow as we haven't had much this year. But the snow/ice combo stuck around for a few days. So our girl had to get out in it.

Shout out to Lilly Anna Kids for the hat. :)

{My Family} Disney 2012

Caution: Photo heavy blog post!

A year ago, my husband had a business trip in Tampa. Since we were going to be so close to Orlando, we decided to take our then 4 year old to Disney. We are so glad we did! She loved it! (And so did we!). I hate that it's taken me this long to go through them and get them edited, but it has been so fun walking down memory lane.

The first night we went to Downtown Disney and ate at the T-REX. It's a lot of fun. The thing I remember most is the strawberry lemonade. For some reason, when I was pregnant, I LOVED strawberry lemonade. We ate amongst life-like, roaring dinosaurs. After we feasted with the extinct, we visited the Lego store. Probably the highlight of the evening was the live show for kids. Our girl loves music and moving!

The next morning we awoke bright and early and headed over to Magic Kingdom. It is aptly named! If there's one thing this little girl loves, it's characters. If you're in a non-threatening costume, you're getting hugged. So she was on cloud nine at Disney!

I'm not sure who enjoyed the carousel ride more!

It's small world after all!

We had dinner with Cinderella, Prince Charming, the Fairy Godmother, and the stepsisters. She was sure they all knew she was turning 4!

We really weren't paying attention and nearly missed the fireworks show. We didn't have great "seats" but it was still spectacular!

The park was open until midnight...and we stayed! We just didn't want the magic to end!

The second day, we went to the Animal Kingdom. While there were parts of the Animal Kingdom that were fabulous, we kind of wished we would have gotten a Park Hopper pass. When you have such a fabulous zoo such as we have in St. Louis (that's free!), it just doesn't seem right to have to pay that amount of money. Plus the Magic Kingdom was a tough act to follow! The first thing we did was the Safari Ride. Which I hear was excellent. I didn't ride because it recommended you not ride while pregnant. So the following Safari pictures were taken by my husband. The first picture he took was of a tree with birds on it. Quite stunning. Good job, babe.

Moving on ...

We had lunch with Donald, Goofy, Daisy, and Mickey! She LOVED Goofy!

Parade!

The Nemo show was outstanding!

Our little princess loves dirt! In Dinoland, she found out she could dig...and we about never got her out.

We were sad to leave Disney and our beautiful hotel, but on to Tampa we went.

While Daddy was off at meetings, we headed to the beach. Oh how I'd love to be at the beach right now!

The poor seagulls! She loved to chase them!

The next day, we were able to bring Daddy to the beach for just a few hours before we had to head to the airport.

Headed back to the airport. Oh, Florida, you treated us well!
