{Christmas 2010}

Christmas brought a flurry of activity: photo shoots, gift-buying, and the 24-hour flu bug. As a result, I am a little behind on posting, among many other things! Here are a few shots from Christmas shoots. Enjoy!

Chrystal + Matthew {Airport Proposal}

When Matt called me and asked me to photograph his proposal to his long-distance girlfriend of over two years, I was excited and yet at the same time honored to be able to witness this special moment between them. I met Matt at the airport about 20 minutes before her plane was to land. He was a bundle of nerves! Chrystal would have found him adorable! A couple of helpful bystanders kept track of her flight on the arrival board as he waited anxiously at the bottom of the escalator near baggage claim. And when it was announced that her flight had attended we watched for her to make her descent. The moment was. Sweet. Romantic. Simple. And she said, "YES!"

{STL Family}

I met up with this amazing family in downtown St. Louis on a dreary, wet day in December. I love overcast photo shoots! We started out in City Garden. We took advantage of the modern art and the spectacular view of the Arch that the City Garden has to offer. After a while of shooting in the cold, we moved in doors to Union Station and a warmer climate. From there the family decided to grab a bite to eat at Crown Candy - a St. Louis must! I had such an amazing time photographing this fabulous family. Enjoy this sneak peak of their STL photo shoot.
