I met up with the West Family on a dreary sunless day at the Jewel Box in Forest Park. We were a little dismayed when we arrived at the Jewel Box to discover they had moved all their summer blooms to the greenhouse. So we had a lot of green and very little color to work with. But between the Korean War Memorial and the Jewel Box, we were able to get some really great shots. And can I just say, shooting on dreary sunless days is one of my favorite times to shoot (as long as it's not raining!).
