{My Family} Six-month Check-up

I have a big Christmas post coming, but until them I am posting pics from the little one's six-month check up. I am a little behind as she is now 7 1/2 months. She is growing up too fast! I love this sweet little booger. She was so big and brave and having a grand time until the shots came. :( Big sister tried to be brave too while getting a flu shot, but shots are just no fun! I know I'm rotten for taking these images, but they melt my heart nonetheless. I snuggled them both soon after I snapped the photos.

{My Family} Merry Christmas!

Our little family created a tradition about three years ago. Every year we go down to Ted Drewes. In the summertime, it's a frozen custard hotspot and has been since the 1930s and 1940s. But during Christmas, it's a Christmas tree lot AND frozen custard hotspot. The place is simply magical at Christmas time. The smell of the pine in the air is intoxicating. Our oldest loves to run through the trees. This year she ran through singing, "O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree." While we haven't gotten brave enough to buy a real tree yet, we do get a real wreath every year to put on our door. It's a tradition we plan to keep for a long time!

{One-Year Session} Miss Happy

I'm playing catch up on the blog. I promised myself and all of you fabulous people who take the time to check out the blog that I would make more regular posts. I'm a little behind! 

This little beauty turned one in November. She's a sweet-natured, happy-go-lucky, smiling little girl. We saved some cupcakes from her birthday party for this little session. The facial expression she makes at first bite is hilarious. Her face says, "This is gross!" But it doesn't stop her from taking another bite! And the picture with her dog Gracie...totally impromptu, but probably my favorite shot of the entire day. Here are a few images from our little session.
