Hillary + Brad {Colorado Wedding} - Part 2

Hillary and Brad had a beautiful ceremony that moved on into a fun-filled reception, where there was good food, cake, laughter, toasting, a garter and bouquet toss, and dancing.

Meetin' and greetin' folks as they came through the line for food.

This is Shannon, Hillary's mom's maid of honor. It's great when friends stay friends. :)

The flower girl kept herself occupied during the festivities. Thank you, Apple, for creating the iPod.

At each place setting, Hillary and Brad had left a post card. On the back of the post card was a question about them or the actual wedding day for you to answer and return to a basket for the bride and groom to keep as a memento.

While she left the note writing to her dad, the autograph she left herself.

The grandmas.

Toasts

Cake...yummy.

Their first dance.

Let's get this party started!

Let's pause the dancing to bring you the garter toss and the bouquet toss.

We will commence the dancing now.

Then we gave them a lighted farewell...but I don't know who left him in charge of the flame.

Happy marriage, Brad and Hillary!

Miss A & Mr. B {Sneak Peak}

Dear Baby Gap, Gymboree, Children’s Place, Crazy 8, and Janie Jack:

There really isn’t any need for you to have a casting call…here are a two great models. Oh my goodness, Miss A could not be any more gorgeous, and sweet Mr. B is one of the cutest little boys I’ve ever seen. You just want to squeeze his cheeks and take him home with you!

Even though it was unbearably hot this morning, we survived and came away with these adorable shots. Enjoy this sneak peak!

This next picture is totally a blooper, but it cracks me up!

Hillary + Brad {Colorado Wedding} - Part 1

When I was eight years old, I was overjoyed to find out that my run as the sole grandchild on the Olson side was going to end! I was getting a new baby cousin! Hillary Esther Parson greeted the world on July 30, 1989. And I couldn’t have been happier.  Here’s a shot of me and Hillary at our first meeting.

It seems big events for Hillary and I have happened eight years apart. We were born a little over eight years apart. We graduated from high school eight years apart and college eight years apart. And now we’ve married a little over eight years apart. So Hillary, it seems your life plan should include a baby in about five years.

All kidding aside, it was my pleasure to second shoot at Hillary’s wedding alongside the talented Tina Wood. Not only did Hillary get to marry her Mr. Wonderful, Brad, but she had the most adorable flower girl of all time (even if I’m a little biased).

The day started with preparation.

And then dad saw her for the first time all dressed up. He was a little teary at seeing his little girl all grown up and in a beautiful dress.

And then came the First Look. I don’t think Brad was disappointed in the least bit!

Let the wedding begin!

More to come from the rest of the day ...
