J + Y = Love

My brother-in-law and sister-in-law are two pretty special people who have a very amazing love story. I've been telling them for over a year that I would love to photograph them. That day finally arrived!! It was a blast just like I knew it would be! And the images turned out pretty good (if I do say so myself). But severely photogenic people make my job that much easier! I love these two people~beautiful inside and out!

The Pace Family { + a brand new addition! }

Wow was it freezing when I met up with the Pace Family and their new little bundle of joy! I'm not sure he was too excited about being out in the cold. The new mom and dad weren't too keen on the cold air either. So we quickly grabbed these adorable shots and headed back to warmer places.

Mank Family { Starring the Adorable E Man }

So I am way far behind in blogging my photo shoots. At first it was just because I had five shoots in four days! Super fun! Then in the middle of editing the these shoots, my mom had to have emergency surgery and was in the hospital for over a week. So we made an unplanned trip to southwest Missouri. We returned to St. Louis for "rest and to get revamped." However, my husband had other plans up his sleeve. Surprise!! A 30th birthday party for me (a month early). Which was amazing!! Because my gift was A. New. Camera! My very own Canon Mark 5D II. We then returned back to southwest Missouri to take care of Mom and to celebrate Thanksgiving. We returned today, and I am feverishly trying to catch up.

So here is the first in a series of upcoming post. Meet the Mank Family! I so enjoyed meeting this family. Little E was so adorable. He could sure turn that cute smile of his on and off in an instant. I had fun being a kid with him. His parents are pretty cool, too. :) So without further ado, here are some sweet shots from their shoot.

{ Zeus } Our Four-Legged Neighbor

Next door to us, we have the cutest chocolate lab mix puppy. He adores our Miss A, and she adores him. More than once through out the day, she will ask, "Mommy, can we please go say hi to Zeus?" Tonight I took a moment to capture their sweet friendship. The two of them are just too cute for words.
Here he was standing at the fence just begging with those big puppy dog eyes for Miss A to come over to see him.
This next one makes my heart smile.
Here is Miss A modeling our freshly painted red door.
