The Best Birthday Gift

I recently celebrated a birthday. The best birthday present ever was my sweet 22-month old wishing me a happy birthday after having some delicious chocolate birthday cake.

A Couple of Really Cute Kids

I finally have gotten just a little time to share these photos of two fabulous kids (if I do say so myself!). Such a fun day!
Does this gent look slightly mischievous?

Hansel and Gretel hop through the forest.

Will they ever find their way home?
Once we got them to hold hands, they just kept holding hands.
Cheerio! Top o' the mornin' to ya!

The reluctant kiss!
We need to have a serious conversation.

After we managed to get a few good semi-posed pictures, we let the kids play. L did not want to swing, but he offered to push A. Miss A could have sat in that swing all day, but alas we had to remove her kicking and screaming.

L shares a sweet moment with his mama.
THE OUTTAKES!!
(Just as fun if not more!)

A was coming in for a kiss, and L did not want any part of that.
A's turn to shun the attention. She did not want to hold L's hand!
"Ewww!! Mommy, she's got dirt on her hands!!"
"It's ok, L. She likes having dirt on her hands."
A tries L's hat on for size. I think she'll keep it. :)

Do you need help?
She does love rocks and dirt!
Super L to the resuce!!!
A was not into this hug either. If they'd just want to be loving at the same time!
This kid makes the funniest faces!

A few more from VanWinkle-Tavares-Kopecky Families

I had so much fun with these photos. There were so many good ones that I had to share a few more.
I love this picture. It expresses so much ... love, happiness, laughter, & fun!
All the kiddos!

Did somebody say, "Ice cream?!?!"
I love this sweet hug!
Which brother do you think will like the spotlight?!
A stroll with dad.
That was a lot of work ... let's sit a rest a while. :)

What was I thinking?!?!

I gave my daughter chocolate pudding today. What was I thinking?! Of course she would not let me feed it to her. She's a big girl now, and she can do all by herself! Here's the result.
She sure is a mess, but she sure is cute!

VanWinkle-Tavares-Kopecky Families

I had such an amazing time this weekend photographing this family. When I scheduled this shoot, I was thinking it was going to be a cold day, but boy, was I wrong! It was in the high 60s and beautiful. I would have liked to have had a few more clouds, but I guess I can't be too picky, right?! I am still going through all these wonderful photos ... but here's a sneak peak!
1 Wagon + 2 Brothers = Happiness
I had been really wanting to try this pose out. This was the perfect family for it! Am I allowed to say that I absolutely love it?!?!?
High School Musical Reenactment!
All Aboard! This train's bound for fun!

Who wants ice cream?!?!

A Few from the Pumpkin Patch

I haven't gone all the way through my pumpkin patch pictures ... but I figured if I didn't post some, I might not get any posted! My friend Dana (you shall see her pictured below), her mom, and I took our girls to the pumpkin patch. It was a beautiful day, but the sun was way bright!! So snapping pictures was not a snap (pun intended). Some of them turned out rather nicely. I love fall and pumpkins! Orange ~ my absolute favorite color!!! My tutu pumpkin princess!
I love her serious expression.

My beautiful friend, Dana! Did I mention she made the wonderful orange/pink tutu my girl is sporting! Yeah, my friends are beautiful and talented.
Poor Miss Mo was not too happy about being at the pumpkin patch. Mommy was trying to wipe away her frown. I love how her bottom lip is sticking out in this photo. Does anyone else agree that this is an awesome hat?

After Dana and I spent nearly half the day at the patch, my husband met up with me, and my girl made her rounds again to all the fun festivities of the pumpkin patch.

Starting with a yummy pretzel!
I could not get her to look at me and smile. We could get the smile, but not the direct look. Then here's the direct look, but alas no smile. She's still beautiful (says the biased mother).

The princess and her chauffeur!
Corn maze.
I just love this picture of my two favorite people.
See! Told you the sun was B-R-I-G-H-T!!!
It's already happening, my daughter will definitely be the hogger of the spotlight.
